Turn the other Cheek

Is a biblical teaching from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:39). Its meaning is almost entirely misunderstood.

It does not suggest passivity, submission, lack of courage, surrender or weakness.

It points to something far more radical.

It is a U-turn toward yourself, where you recognize yourself as the author, creator, projector, and dreamer - the root cause of all things.
