We have grown up with the conviction that everything must come to an end.

We are schooled in finitude.

From our earliest years, we learn to think in terms of limits, deadlines, loss, and defeat. Our education, our culture, even our language are built upon the assumption that everything has an endpoint: the body, time, desire, imagination, memory, dreams, life itself.

And yet, if we were educated not for endings but for infinity; if we were formed in timelessness, in fearlessness, in the absence of death, then the whole of human civilization would assume an entirely new face.
